Scotiabank and Hockey
Scotiabank's support of hockey dates back to the days of the banker leagues, professional hockey that predates even the NHL. In the 1970s Scotiabank responded to Canadian kids' enthusiasm for the game by launching the Scotiabank Hockey College. Today our tie to hockey is stronger than ever. Scotiabank employees participate as coaches, managers and volunteers, and cheer on kids in communities across Canada. It's just one more way Scotiabank celebrates the foundations of hockey and helps add richness to the lives of Canadians.
